“ALAPALA has recently completed a turnkey Maize Flour Mill Project for SIMBA Holdings LTD, in Zambia.SIMBA Holdings, established for the construction of cutting-edge grain processing plants, LPG factories, and production of construction materials, operates as part of the SIMBA Group in Zambia.”
The company’s new factory, dedicated to maize milling in the region, has commenced operations. One of the global leaders in food processing technologies, ALAPALA took on the entire responsibility of the turnkey project, overseeing all aspects from the initial project design to installation and automation. This greenfield project has further solidified ALAPALA’s presence in Zambia.
Utilizing locally sourced Zambian corn, the factory produces breakfast cereals and grits with a daily capacity of 150 tonnes, catering to both the domestic and export markets. The Factory Management System developed by ALAPALA ensures efficient monitoring and control of production processes, a technology also implemented in the SIMBA maize flour mill project. This system enables the comprehensive tracking of the entire process, from the initial grain processing to flour packaging, all from a central point with real-time data. Additionally, it facilitates remote service support in the event of potential technical issues.
